Felt Name Book

Christmas is coming fast. Especially if you like to give handmade gifts. Here is one I've been working on for my little guy:
It's a felt book with each letter of his name and a picture of something that starts with that letter. Wanna take a peek inside?

G is for grapes.
R is for robot.

A is for alligator.

N is for net.

T is for teepee.
The back cover has a little siggy just because:
And this is what it looks like from the side:
I don't have a tutorial of how to make each individual picture. But here is the general idea of how I made the book:
I cut equal sized rectangles of felt and hand-stitched the pictures and letters to each rectangle using embroidery thread. Next I used a blanket stitch to sew the front to the back of each page. I only stitched the three outside edges. Then I stitched the binding together with long stitches through all thicknesses. Wha-la! Done!
I have never made a book from felt before, although I have made a name book before. Felt is so fun to work with and best of all, it's cheap! 20 cents a sheet! And sometimes you can find it in patterns. I had fun experimenting with different stitching patterns. The stitching really adds a lot to the shapes, so have fun with it!

WOW! This looks really great! Saw a similar idea in a Martha Stewart book, but yours looks more detailed.
